It all started with a vision: President and CEO Rita Bartlett believed there had to be a better way to provide superior transcription service using the latest technology operated by the most qualified transcriptionists.

After doing a stint in Houston, Texas, working with court reporters specializing in executive level transcription, Ms. Bartlett and her partner were the first to successfully introduce real-time transcription in the Los Angeles Federal and Superior Court systems (as reported by the LOS ANGELES TIMES). From there, she launched Transcription 2000 Services in 1996... and the rest, as they say, is history.

Our core training in the legal system coupled with our niche business on Wall Street provides clients with a unique benefit not found at other transcription companies - specialized knowledge.
